The current issue of the New York Bar Journal has an article titled: Case Law from the Crypt: The Law of Halloween. The article highlights some cases involving “haunted” houses, holiday mischief, and flammable costumes.
With the publication of his new memoir, retired Supreme Court Justice John Paul Stevens has been participating in a number of interviews. Some interesting conversations include an appearance on C-Span and interviews with NPR’s Terri Gross and Nina Totenberg.
His new memoir, Five Chiefs, is available in the law library.
The United States Supreme Court began its new term today. The tradition of starting the term on the first Monday in October dates back to 1917.
